New Year, New You: Resolutions for the Workshop
Cold, rainy January… the workshop becomes a welcome escape. So here are some New Year resolutions – plus handy tool recommendations.
1. I will… lead with safety first!
When you have a great idea for a project, it can be tempting to plough on, full steam ahead – without all the necessary precautions and processes in place. Needless to say however, prioritising the correct PPE is essential if you are to make it through each task with everything intact!
These Scan thermal latex gloves come in a pack of three pairs, are hi-vis, and conform to EN ISO 21420 and EN 388. Super ‘handy’ for any job!
2. I will…keep my work station tidy!
It sounds obvious, but a clean and organised workshop is undoubtedly more productive. Without tools lying around and dust flying about everywhere, you’ll be free to focus on the task at hand and therefore more inspired to tackle the next.
This DeWALT wet & dry vacuum with dust collector should do the trick, powered by a 1100W machine, sure to clean up any residue.
3. I will…see every project through!
Starting a project is the easy part, completing it is the challenge. As January is the season of to-do lists, now is the time to check off every task you set your mind to. Trust us when we say, it will feel more rewarding as a result!
To keep you motivated, a brand-new tool is always a good idea – and this Einhell 18V Multi-Tool unit with electronic speed control and quick release for toolless accessory exchange is bang on the money.
Remember, when you’re equipped with great tools and an even greater positive mental attitude, no excuses…the job gets done!
